I bought a Honda Civic off of them in 2021 when they were owned by Waikem. Since then I have traded that car in. I’ve contacted them at least 10 times to cancel my gap insurance. I left numerous voicemails and finally spoke to the finance manager, Jason, and his manager. Now, it’s a month later and they still haven’t cancelled my gap insurance. I live over an hour away. I ONLY went to this dealership for a specific car on their lot, after hours spent with Katrina and the "Finance Mangers" it certainly wasn't for their customer service skills. Had I been able to find another comparable vehicle within a 60 mile radius, I wouldn't have purchased from them. Katrina called me a difficult customer because I asked questions. I came in twice it was yesterday to have the lights on my dashboard checked out, i found out they were booked but advised me that the lights being in would not have an effect on my cars performance the guy i talked to was very rude to me. I’m pretty sure his name was Paul..The guy i talked to offered me no help after telling me the performance of my car wouldn't change. sold us a brand new car. forgot to mention oh btw your brand new car does not have a spare tire. cost her several days of work and when i went to talk to the sales manager he could have cared less. cars do not come with spare tires anymore is not the correct answer. this is a very important feature that should have been brought up during the sale. here. honda gave you a tire pump....

On February 10 I purchased a used car from Waikem. I worked with Rod in sales who was helpful during the process. During my experience there I felt like the finance managers were practicing predatory lending. I was approached several times with interest rates higher than I am accustomed to. Having just purchased another car the prior summer, I knew what I should be offered. Finance kept advising me that there was a shift in the market and rates were higher. They need to hire mechanics, I took my car in to get recalls done and my car didn’t start when I went to pick it up. They got it started then It broke down in the middle of Lincoln way and had to push it out of the street. No help was offered to me and I fixed the car myself, owned it for 5 years with no problems until they touched it, thanks Waikem Auto Family! Never, would recommend this dealership. I left this message on Waikem Auto Family FB page. We visited Waikem Honda in Massillon on 9/24, interested in a 2012 Jeep. Talked to Sarah about it, we were in a hurry told her we were still interested would be back that evening would call before coming back. We called, told her we were on our way, it would be about 1/2 hour before we got there, we were coming from Akron. She stated, they would pull it inside for us when we got there. Sorry to hear about your experience Barbara. Every vehicle is always for sale, and we cannot hold vehicles for customers on their way. Customers usually only show up around 40-50%. Customers at the dealership, on premise, have the first right to the car. It wouldn't be fair to the customer in the showroom to not give them the first chance, since someone could be on their way. The sales people are very professional and kind but the service center policies and charges are confusing due to a car being under warranty and another Honda dealership offering everything that the warranty actually covers. I will not take our car there again. I’ll make the drive to Great Lakes.
